Porosity Analysis in Geotextiles using 3D Photogrammetry
Textile PhotogrammetryWe developed a high-resolution 3D scanning system to quantify the porosity and fiber structure in non-woven geotextiles. The goal was to accurately predict their filtration capacity and durability in civil engineering projects. We used a multi-angle photogrammetry approach with controlled lighting to capture the complex surface topography and internal pore network, generating point clouds and digital meshes used for hydraulic flow simulations.
