Porosity Analysis in Technical Membranes using 3D Photogrammetry
Textile PhotogrammetryThe client needed to accurately quantify the porosity and mesh structure of a new high-tech membrane for protective equipment. We used a high-resolution 3D scanning system to generate dense point clouds of the textile samples. This approach enabled the digital modeling of the fiber microstructure, analysis of pore distribution, and simulation of airflow, providing objective data to validate permeability and resistance specifications.
